The sun hadn't fully risen when the group gathered at Travel Wise Office Senggigi, the clock still reading 06.00 in the morning. Backpacks piled up, faces still sleepy but full of excitement. Trekking on Komodo Island, meeting Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Followed by a stop at Pink Beach with its genuinely pink sand, then closed with a sunset trek to the peak of Padar Island, one of the most photographed views in Indonesia.
A final visit to Kelimutu/Manjarite before the boat finally docks in Labuan Bajo, Flores, marking the end of a story-filled travelwise komodo journey.
